This depends on many factors, such as medium, size, number of pets in the portrait.
Whether you would like a detailed scenic background or diffused colour background, and finally whether you would like the portrait framed or not.

There are many pet portrait artists, all charging various prices. I always use 100% archival materials, the most colour fast pastels of all my artwork. I have had years of experience, 13 years plus and won’t use mounts or paper that will discolour or damage the artwork. Please consider carefully before buying cheap art as price often reflects quality.
