Thanks to Steve Tracy’s amazing wildlife photography here these two sister tigers here caught my imagination and I couldn’t resist their pose to capture in a non-commissioned pastel portrait. The beautiful colours of their coats and loving eyes exemplified the affection animals can express to each other just like humans. How any arrogant US dentist or other pig-headed big game hunters can justify their bestial behaviour under the cloak of ‘conservation’ is beyond me.
These wonderful tigers have now inspired me to produce a series of wildlife portraits depicting other animals showing affection for each other. I’m planning to call the series ‘Animal Affection’ which in the great scheme of things I plan to exhibit next year. So keep watching this space.
