I really did forget how much time puppies take up. Not just because they need constant watching but they are proper time wasters too.
I have juggled my working hours to fit in with puppy day care and I am working later at night, so if emails don’t get through until later that is why.
Despite Maggie distractions, I have finished Archie’s portrait, he is a beautiful black shaggy dog with lots of lovely wiry fur to enjoy detailing.
Here is the triple dog portrait I am working on. I love painting dogs in a background. Especially our iconic spring flower the bluebell. If you want a background added to your portrait similar to this, please let me know. I could also painting poppies, or how about a beautiful yellow rapeseed field?
Anyway back to the portraits while the puppy is being entertained by the kids!
