Just as nice as it is to have a change of scenery I like to work on different pet portraits at the same time. It is good to be able to go back to a portrait after a break and look on it with fresh eyes.
I decided the Irish setter needs that so I started Barney’s portrait today. He is a beautiful liver and white show Spaniel.
I started a time lapse of his portrait too which I shall upload in due course. His portrait measures 10×12 inches which is one of my most popular sizes for pet portraits.
Here is the progress I made today. I think working back in the studio definitely helps as I am not distracted trying to negotiate peace between the two kids! As much as I love them the constant arguing over things is enough to drive you to distraction.
