I love working for myself. I wouldn’t change a thing about it, apart from when you are ill and the catch up afterward! Normally a couple of days off makes no difference, but nearly two weeks creates a bit of a headache.
I have many commissions lined up so I really have to get cracking now. This weekend I finished this gorgeous borer collie, Yoshi. I wanted the background to pick up his stunning eye colour. I hope I have done him justice. I certainly enjoyed doing his portrait.
Next I am finishing up a horse commission and starting a Westie. Also in the coming weeks I have pet portraits of a cat, pointer, Labrador and a Labrador puppy.
Busy, busy. I love it.
