Had a lovely but chilly day at the Blindley Heath Heavy Horse Show on Sunday. Business was good with prints, posters and my various Rainbow Watercolour merchandise selling well on what was a rather quiet day for the May Day Bank Holiday weekend.
To be fair whilst it a bright day there was a stiff wind blowing across the south east over the weekend which blew straight through the craft fair marquee and we all nearly froze in the afternoon.
As usual I had a lot of pet portrait enquiries and shifted a lot of business cards so hopefully, based on past experience on the road, I will get a follow up commission or two. Doing these shows is as much about getting your name out there to new audiences even if you risk your health doing so!
