It’s been a busy few days replying to enquiries about pet portraits. People commission pet portraits for all sorts of reasons. My latest commission is for a beautiful black lab. I have also had an equity for a chocolate lab.
I made good progress on the portrait I initially painted the wrong way round, and luckily my client loves it.
It’s not the best photo as scanning it in the loft which is over 100 degrees is too much right now, but I will of course scan the final proof for them.
I have started a doubleab portrait and I will also be starting another cat commission. It really has been crazy with the cats this year. But it is lovely as I really think out feline companions are often over looked.
I will post some progress shots of my latest portraits tomorrow. I really need to update my gallery too and Facebook page as I made a promise to people I would!
