I’m just recovering from my first art show of 2017 where I exhibited my pet portrait work and Rainbow Watercolour range of wild and domestic animals.
We came back from a week’s holiday on Friday so it was a quick turn around to get everything packed for an early departure to The Stag Plaza Arts and Crafts Fair in Sevenoaks, Kent.
I didn’t do badly with several pet portrait enquiries and my Rainbow Watercolour range of mug coasters flew off the stand as did my cards. However it was a funny day as not the usual amout of people were out and about in Sevenoaks town.
So footfall was unusually low but I counted myself lucky as other stallholders were very quiet. Pretty sure the sunny warm weather and the Easter school holidays didn’t help with everyone away.
I’m sure when I return on Saturday 10th June it will be busier. I’m now looking forward to The Blindley Heath Heavy Horse and Country Show near Lingfield in Kent on Sunday 30th April.
Do pop in if you’re in the area or fancy a day out in beautiful Kent.
