I haven’t reached for the watercolours for a good while. I am hoping this inspires me again.
I was asked two weeks ago to paint a gift for someone who is starting a new job.
I really didn’t know what to paint, the obvious thing was four leaf clovers for good luck. I wanted to incorporate animals, seeing as I am an animal artist. I chose a bear. I don’t know why but I did. And the butterfly signifies new beginnings. The new job.
I think they were pleased. I was apprehensive being as it’s been a long time since I have used the watercolours as I mentioned, but overall I am pleased with the outcome.
