As the title says really. I hope 2019 brings you health and happiness and I really hope I get to paint lots more pet portraits in 2019.

It will be kicked off by a horse portrait, TJ and you can read about it in my blog. I have two more horse portraits lined up and lots of dogs and a cat portrait in my rainbow watercolour style too. So lots to blog about which is exciting. I can’t wait to share them with you.

Hopefully along with my usual pet portraits there will be a bit of the unusual or different from me. I have some wildlife paintings planned. I want to do more this year, my anxiety prevented me doing as much as I would like as I had to focus on my commissions.. I hope now that I am taking a lot more exercise it will help me. I certainly feel like it has made a difference. It has also helped with the dreaded artists block!

Thursday I plan to return to my studio and start filming again. I have been working but in fits and starts as I find the Christmas rush of pet portraits exhausting, nevermind all the other things you have to do as a Mum at Christmas. I wouldn’t have it any other way though. Not too much rest for the wicked though and to be honest I am itching to get back to painting all those gorgeous animals again!

I don’t know what you are all up to tonight, whether you are out or having a party at home, or like, me chilling infront of the fire with my kids and dogs, have a great night and be safe.

Happy New Year!!!!
