My family and I have just got back from a lovely holiday in Somerset. The weather was amazing and we had plenty of rest and relaxation. While I was away I got another pet portrait commission. Being self employed you never get to completely switch off, but that is how I like it!
People are always fascinated about the life of a pet portrait artist and I enjoy talking about my passion, art!
Whilst away I also checked emails and have three other dog portraits lined up! I have a border terrier, labradoodle and an old English sheepdog. I have to say I am very excited about the latter as it is my first time doing an old English sheepdog portrait!
Tomorrow I have a show in Sevenoaks where I hope to get some more pet portrait commissions and sell some originals and prints.
