Annoyingly if forgot to get a photo of JD’s portrait before he was gifted. I do that occasionally and what was particularly annoying was the fact I was really pleased with his portrait.
My neighbour commissioned the painting of JD…..yes after her favourite tipple Jack Daniels…for her sister as a belated birthday present!
He is a gorgeous dachshund or otherwise known as a sausage dog. I have only ever had 2 sausage dog portraits before! There are so many breeds portraits I haven’t had the opportunity to paint I would love to do them. Basset hounds being one, Australian cattle dogs are another breed.
Anyway I digressed slightly. Here is JD and his proud owner!
