Keisha 1

This pet portrait of this beautiful Staff ‘Keisha’ was a true collaboration with its owner to make sure we captured her lovely colouring.

Firstly we agreed that this pet portrait should have Keisha on a one colour background and as a head and shoulders only to focus the eye on the dog’s face.

Then there was the frame to decide for the pet portrait which the client left up to me. As you can see (pictured) I selected a simple varnished brown frame. Luckily the client had sent me good reference pictures of Keisha taken in her home and I could match the framed pet portrait to its background.Keisha framed

I discussed my ideas at all stages of the pet portrait planning and production with the client to make sure she was happy. Quality images and close client collaboration are always the best way to deliver great pet portraits.
