n the village have been thinking of getting a portrait of their chocolate labrador Maggie for a while now. As usual with us all having hectic lives we hadn’t arranged it up until now. Anyway today we finally managed to get together and get some photos for her portrait.
Maggie has the most amazing eyes and I really can’t wait to paint her pet portrait. Her owners had a dog portrait of her when she was younger and also a bronze sculpture. They wanted another to capture her in older years, even keeping her grey. A distinguished feature I think. She is 12 now and such a sweetheart.
She was a little bemused by the camera, but after a few minutes she settled down, I think the treats helped.
