Getting ready for a show always takes longer than I think, but I am just about ready. Alfie’s owner was delighted with his portrait so that was framed, packed and posted today.
To be honest I feel shattered so I am going to put my feet up tonight and hope for lots of sales and pet portrait enquiries tomorrow.
I framed We Are Family for the show, I haven’t changed many of the paintings over so hopefully a little refresh will get some interest. I haven’t picked up my watercolours in ages as I have been snowed under with pet paintings, but I am hoping I might get a chance next week sometime to do have a play. I have some ideas for some African Wild Dogs and some puffins. I’d quite like to do some more otters too, but I shall have to wait where the inspiration hits me!
