Yes that’s right, I am branching out and I am painting some humans. Wow it is taking some time. Skin colours are hard to get right and lips are hard. Yes very hard. However I am loving the challenge. It’s great fun to be doing something different portrait wise and if it goes well and my client is pleased it is something I will consider offering again. I did plan to do a time lapse, but it will probably be a bit disjointed as I really need to concentrate hard on these guys! Luckily I am getting g to paint their furry companion as well, so that will be more withing my comfort zone. Not only does this involve skin, but tree stumps, grass and a landscape behind. This painting really does have it all. I have a photo but it’s a bad one so I will wait until I am a little further on before I share!
