It’s been so hectic here. My daughter turned 11 yesterday. 11!!! I can’t believe it! Where has that time gone. So what with organising her party and hosting it on Sunday and some family celebrations yesterday I have been rushed off my feet. Coupled with this cold I haven’t got done what I would have liked. However on the positive the cold seems to be shifting now, so at least it won;t being hanging around for half term
I have managed to finish two portraits yesterday and today. Both Alfie and Basil had the finishing touches applied and I did make the effort to scan them in this time, they do look so much better when scanned Have a look and see what you think.
I have also managed to frame Poppy’s portrait and she will be collected Thursday. Rebus started his journey to his forever home today to go along side Geddy, his big brother.
Tomorrow I will be starting a horse portrait and sketching out a cow portrait. Unfortunately I had hoped to avoid taking work away with me, but I don’t think I can now. But Nicola has a massive school project to do over half term, so we will have to spend some time doing that (well my husbad will!) and I can crack on with some work. Luckily I love what I do so much I really don’t mind!
