I feel sorry for anyone that has a labouring job outside in this heat, it’s so hot! I didn’t work yesterday afternoon due to the heat, but I couldn’t afford to take the time off today as I have a very long pet portrait commission list at the moment, saying that by 2.30 I was struggling.
I have made good progress on the westie portrait and now I am going to pack up Dudley’s portrait to go out tomorrow. He looks great framed and I hope his Mum and Dad are pleased.
Here are some progress shots, I haven’t decided on the background for his portrait, something not to light as he is obviously fairly white. I quite like the purple/grey I used on a horse portrait earlier this month, or maybe a mottled green. Waiting to hear back from my client. I hope to get it finished this week.
Hopefully you can see how the portrait is progressing, the last one is a bad phone photo unfortunately, but will obviously get a better one when the portrait is finished.
