I here in early April that I was about to exhibit my work at ‘Mind’ the mental health charity’s innovative new shop called .
‘made in kent’ is unlike any other charity shop. It’s a beautifully fitted out bespoke art and craft shop selling goods produced by artists based in Kent. It’s located in the historic north-Kent town of Gravesend on the Thames Estuary.
To my great delight and surprise all stock of my wildlife prints and gift cards have sold out within weeks and I’m hurriedly trying to get new stock in this week for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Not only that but they’ve now asked to stock a range of my new watercolour prints (pictured) which are currently in production. On that note their popularity has completely exceeded my expectations with a succession of orders coming in. The original of my ‘cow’ went very quickly and effectively sold four times over although those who were disappointed have since requested prints instead!
I’m now looking at how my work, particularly my new watercolour range, can be used on other merchandise.
Exciting times continue!
